Have you ever signed up to volunteer somewhere before personally knowing anyone else attending? Cold-volunteering? Sometimes everything feels great, friendships begin, connections are made. Other times you realize you’re just a number, a face in the crowd of hands. Maybe you’re the third-wheel. “Was I really welcome to join them?”
